Today we went and bought a smaller Christmas tree. Our old one is to big to fit in the room with all of the things we have accumulated over the past year. It's amazing how your free space disappears when there's another person to the family. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Andrew has 2 tee shirts that say "Daddy thinks he is in charge." This video shows that that is true!! It's a little hard to hear and see, but watch as Andrew get on Kevin for leaning on his hoe.

No shoes for me.

It's hard to imagine that a year ago he did not even like to sit in the grass, let alone run bare foot. Now we have a hard time getting him to wear shoes. He likes his crocks and we do too (because they are easy to put on when he kicks them off in the car, store or where ever we are). He enjoys helping in the garden, riding his tricycle, playing with his lawn mower and wagon.

Catch up time!

Hello everyone, it's been a long time between posts. Lisa is keeping busy with work at the hospital and studying for her CCRN exam which will be Aug 24 (be praying for her because this is a tough exam). I'm at home most of the time with Andrew who is growing and talking more and more. He is going to speech therapy once a week this summer, hopefully having therapy twice a week when he starts preschool in Sept. In April we went to Nebraska to visit Kevin's family and friends. While we were there we saw sunny days and tornado warnings which were followed by snow and ice the next morning. We were in the air once again on 4/11. We were flying home once again. ( 2008, we were flying back to the States with Andrew. He became a US citizen that day. 2009, we were heading back from Nebraska, his 1st time there.) In October, we have reservations to attend the AWAA reunion where he hope to meet up with some of those who traveled with us to China. (The photo of the 3 of us was at PF Chang's on our 1st Family day, 3/30.)

Hello everyone,

Sorry it's been awhile since our last update. Lisa has a new position at the Hospital so she been pretty busy. She is now the RN 4 and her week is a mix of administration and staffing. Which means I (Kevin) have more fatherly duties as she puts in between 36 - 40 hours which include meetings on some of her days off. Andrew is doing great, full of energy and keeping us going. From the time he's up he is on the go, only giving us a break while he naps (which he is doing right now). This picture is from Christmas at Lisa's parents and Andrew and his cousin Logan are playing with his new tractor and trailer. The 3 of us are planning on taking a trip to Nebraska in April so Kevin's family and friends will get to meet him. We will be there for Kevin's dad's b-day and a big relief sale for mission. Well I hear Andrew kicking the rail of his bed so it's time to go. Take care and God Bless.
